Jacob Lehman presents at Temple’s LLM in Trial Advocacy Program
In March 2018, Mr. Lehman, together with Joe Marano of Freiwald Law, served as a guest presenter at Temple University’s LLM in Trial Advocacy program.
The LLM is a nationally ranked year-long degree program that is at the forefront of teaching trial advocacy for the practicing attorney. Mr. Lehman and Mr. Marano, both alumni of the program, were invited back to speak on litigation strategy at the pretrial and trial stages and to assist students in analyzing an upcoming mock trial file, developing a theme and theory for the case, and effectively using technology in their presentations.

Chad Goebel obtained a Defense Verdict for an Orthopedic Surgeon following a 6 day jury trial in Philadelphia County where it was alleged that the surgeon failed to formulate an effective plan to retrieve a retained trial femoral head that had become detached and embedded during a total hip arthroplasty.

Chad Goebel obtained a Binding Arbitration Award in favor of Emergency Physician
Chad Goebel obtained a Binding Arbitration Award in favor of Emergency Physician where the plaintiff alleged a failure to order radiology studies to rule out whether there was any glass left in a wound after the plaintiff was treated for a laceration after putting his arm through a glass door. 5 years after the injury plaintiff had to undergo a procedure to remove a 5 cm shard of glass that may have been left behind.
Jacob Lehman serves as Judge in National Mock Trial Competition
On February 9, 2018, Mr. Lehman had the privilege of judging the presentations of law students competing in a three-state regional round of the National Mock Trial Competition. Created in 1975, the National Mock Trial Competition is co-sponsored by the American College of Trial Lawyers and is designed to expose law students to the nature of trial practice and to serve as a supplement to their education. In this round held at Philadelphia’s Criminal Justice Center, law students from twelve law schools across Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware competed for a place in the national finals in Texas.
Jeff Laudenbach obtained a defense verdict in a Worker’s Compensation Claim
Jeff Laudenbach obtained a defense verdict in a worker’s compensation claim involving a herniated disc in the cervical spine allegedly arising from a work related motor vehicle accident. Video surveillance obtained from the work vehicle and employer’s testimony were essential evidence in obtaining this defense verdict.
Gary Gremminger appointed by Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court as Hearing Committee Member
Gary Gremminger has been appointed by the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania to serve a three year term as a Hearing Committee Member.
Jacob Lehman presents at ALFA Professional Liability Practice Group Seminar
In August 2017, Jake gave a presentation at the ALFA Professional Liability Practice Group Seminar in Mashantucket, CT on defending professional liability claims for clients who face pending or possible criminal charges or who are incarcerated. The talk focused on protecting a client’s 5th Amendment Rights in the civil case, the effect of a criminal conviction on civil liability and issues in presenting incarcerated clients at deposition and trial.

Successful Defense of Unlicensed Driver
Gary Gremminger was able to overcome admitted perjured testimony by one client and the unlicensed driver status of another to convince a Philadelphia jury that his clients were not liable for plaintiff’s three fractured cervical vertebrae.
